The study of an application of silicious sols on the colloid beer stabilization proved the high sorption effect of its gel for nitrogen compounds of extracts made from intermediates and the final beer. In comparison with commercial silica gel adsorbents its sorption specifity was different. The stabilization effect of silicious sol was similar so that obtained with a usual quantity of tannine as it followed from full-scale experiments. The application of silicious sol resulted in no changes of sensorial beer properties. Silicious sol is quite excluded from a solution in the form of gel even when sol is applied during last production phases of beer before filtration.
