The acetone-butanol fermentation of sulphite liquors.Peer-reviewed article

The author discusses the problem of utilization of sulphite liquors for the production of butanol and aceton, which is considered to be more economical, than the fermentation of themselves. In the same article the biochemistry of fermentation, the preparation of sulphite liquors for the above mentioned purposes, as well as the proper fermentation process, are described.
