Hygroscopic properties of dehydrated fodder yeast.Peer-reviewed article

F. ŠTROS, R. ŠIKOLA

A series of tests, which were carried out to determine hygroscopic properties of dehydrated fodder yeast, disclose a substancial and intensive water absorbtion. The fodder yeast cannot be therefore stored in rooms with high relative humidity of atmosphere. Especially yeast with higher ash content require special attention as to the choice of storing rooms and packing material.
