The article deals with the possibilities offered by numerical classification methods and analyses the prospects for their application in the taxonomy of yeast. Taxonomy must express also dynamic phenomena of development and in this sphere individual, and practically identical, features and signs may have very different importance. Consequently numerical systems must be duly adapted by developing a comprehensive system of similarity triangles for important attributes this being necessary especially for detailed classification within the frame of one species.(In Czech, English summary only)
