Shorter brewing cycles and five - day working week require necessarily new conception and lay - out of breweries. The article deals with the project of a new brewery with the annual capacity of 300 000 hl. The technological equipment of the brewery incorporates several new ideas permitting to step up the production in seasonal peaks without extending normal working hours and without introducing a six - day working week. Economical analysis of the project confirms that it offers substantial savings both of capital investments and production costs.
