M. VANČURA

A comprehensive evaluation of brewing properties of new varieties of Czechoslovak hops confirms their oustanding quality. The No. 1118 clone and seedlings No. Sm 1952 and Sm    H - 29 are especially valuable. The mentioned two clones are characterized by an extremely high content of resins permitting to redukce the amount of hops required for hopping by 30%. The No. 72 clone, which was used for comparison as a standard, confirmed also its stable, high quality.
