Sporulation of yeast of saccharomyces carlbergensis family.Peer-reviewed article

The aricle deals with three methods which are used to stimulate sporulation, as well as with several methods developed for dyeing yeast spores. The best results have been achieved with sporulation on acetate agar and with malachite green as adyestuff. The influence of lysine and manganate ions upon yeast sporulation is discussed, too, since these chemicals may prove as efficient sporulation stimulants.
