Experience on filtering beer in diatomaceous earth filters.Peer-reviewed article

The article deals with the properties of various filtering materials, with several types of diatomaceous earth beer filters and with practical recommendations, how to operate them for best results. The author specifies factors which must be taken into account when selecting the type and size of a filter to be installed, gives detailed instruction how to put the filter into service and how to control the filtration process.
