New methods and criteria applied to classify the quality of barley and malt.Peer-reviewed article

The article deals with new methods which have been developed to classify the quality of barley and mat better than methods so far used. New methods are based on research works of Chapon, Kretschmer, Hartong and Narziss. The authors maintain that the most reliable criteria are those calculated from several analytic attributes which are related to one another and express one of the quality factors. New methods applied do Czechoslovak brewing barley and malt confirm  their  excellent quality ensuring them exceptional position in Europe.
