The authors characterize the properties of principal impurities present in alcohol produced by fermantation, using as a criterion the relation between the volatility of individual component and ethanol concentracion. Computer-assisted calculation provided nacessary data for diagrams covering several groups of chemical compounds (alcohols, esters, aldehydes and ketones ). The results of the research works will help to improve the efficiency of installations in distillerie.
