Factors affecting the values colour of congress wort and colour after boiling.Peer-reviewed article

The colour formation is dependent on many conditions. The most significant effect has a harvest and a growing area of barley. The significant effect also has the barley variety and the technology used for its processing. The final result need not always be successful; e. g. the crop of 1982 was exceptional and unfavourable with respect to the colour formation.
