A survey publication unveils principal questions in connection with problems of packages for beverage industry inCzechRepublic. Characterization is given of the situation with respect to packages supply and quality under conditions of the lasting monopoly position of bottles and caps´ manufactures. Discussed are innovations in beverage packages and ecological aspects of packaging materials. A survey of specialized services rendered by the State Test Laboratory No. 246 is given, which is a suboffice of the State Testing Institute of Light Industry.
