Archeological research conducted by the Polabské Museum in the town of Nymburk (470 U pošty) in 1996-7 discovered a part of a maltery from the late 16th century. It was saved due to constructor's understanding and after its preservation it was opened for public in the basement of a new building. This object, mainly its vaulted kiln furnace, bases of the building and an adjacent cellar were proposed to be included on the list of immovable cultural objects. Findings of pottery, glass, iron tools etc represent remarkable closed sets, the analyses of which will represent a more general contribution for study of material culture of the renaissance town.
