    Flow cytometry is an optical method. Results obtained by this method contain different information about particles with very small diameters (micron and submicron particles) in solution. This method is usual applied to evaluation of growth and morphological characteristics of cell populations included their intracellular components and compounds. There are several papers dealing with application of flow cytometry to brewing yeast cells.
