The article deals with the properties of the Czechoslovak, as well as foreign cation exchange resins and with their effect upon the stability of wine and its resistance against metallic and crystalic turbidity. Changes of chemical composition of wine and its organoleptic properties after treatment with cation exchange resins have been studied together with the stability. The best results were observed with the Czechoslovak resin "S" and with the foreign resins DOWEX 50 and ZEROLITH 225. Reduction of iron, copper and potassium contents in the treated wine is taken as a criterion of the resin efficiency.
