Dew point control in pneumatic malting plants making green malt.Peer-reviewed article

J. BADA

The author describes a genuine, simple means introduced by a French firm to effect the dew point in malt houses. In principle i tis noting more than cavities in concrete walls and ceilings. These cavities reduce the costs of buildings and provide an efficient way for controlling the temperature of walls by feeding warm air into them. The scheme should be applied to pneumatic malting plants, where germinating chambers should have walls and ceilings with cavities.
