Optimum size of breweries.Peer-reviewed article

The author presents some results of his research work on basic economical problems of breweing industry and indicates, what factors must be taken into account to determine the optimum capacity of a brewery. A comprehensive series of diagrams shows the relations between the capacity, production costs, transport costs and specific beer consumption in the region supplied by the brewery.
