Spherical Fermentor CHEMAP- 50 Liter.Peer-reviewed article

The article deals with the description of the new type of a fermentor. The stainless steel bioreactor blanket is equipped with the EFFIGAS stirrer system with selfsuction property (0-3000 rpm), the FUNDAFON mechnical defoamer (2800 rpm), pH-electrode, O₂-electrode, the FONDALUX instrument for the determination of dry matter, and with the heating (cooling). Air flow can be adjusted ether constant or automatically controlled to be dissolved oxygen value constant in medium. Values of temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen can be controlled automatically. Measured variables are registered by a 6-point recorder. The operation experience is briefly mentioned in the article.
