Factors characterizing the manner of a storage, i. e. a respiration, moisture, temperature, air supply and physiological state are discussed. In the second part, the technique of a storage proper comprising a dry storage, a storage in freezing state and a storage under active aeration are compared, especially from the economical standpoint.
