The membrane filters can be employed in beverage industry for checking the efficiency of bottle washing installations, checking soda water and lemonades for the presence of microflora, checking contamination of squashes and syrups etc. The specific features of the method make it very suitable for applications, where substantial quantities of filtrate must be examined.
