Some problems of removing fine sludge from wort.Peer-reviewed article

The article deals with the removing of fine sludge from sweet wort, experience with the application of this method and recent contribution to the knowledge of its effects. A special attention is paid to the relation between the sludge removing and fermentation process determining in its turn the arrangement of continuous lines in fermenting rooms. Specifications are given of several current types of sludge separators.
