Comparison of three analytic methods which are used for the determination of ethyl alcohol in wine, viz.: distillation, ebullioscopy and chromatography confirm, that gas chromatography is the best of them being simple, reliable and time saving. It should be therefore recommended for routine analyses at wine making plants, where it is necessary to determine the ethyl alcohol contents in various stages of the processing technology.
