The Jaccard method permits to evaluate numerically the similarity of various strains of yeast by applying a simple coefficient and to code their signs. From several methods which are used at present for elaborating yeast dendrograms one, based on the calculations of mean values for whole groups, can be recommended as a well - proven, reliable and simple.
