Some problems of the coliform bacteria - I.Peer-reviewed article

The propagating ability of the coliform bacteria in sweet wort, fermenting wort and beer has been compared at various incubating temperatures. In beer the germs fail to propagate and their number drops gradually the rate being indirectly proportional to the temperature. Contrary conditions are in sweet wort.
