Requirements for specifications of inventions in applying for legal protection of novel microorganism strains in Czechoslovakia.Peer-reviewed article

The author presents a detailed guidance for elaborating a specification of an invention of a novel strain of an industrial productive microorganism to be protected by an authorship certificate. The protection thereof by this novel form of invention protection has been legalized inCzechoslovakiasince 1973. For the official procedure in examining inventions, the respective novel strain is to be deposited in a public collection of microorganisms. The deposit number [ granted  by the management of the  collection] must be indicated both in the specification and in the definition of the invention. [This Czechoslovakian legal term denotes the definition disclosing the scope of legal protection for particular invention, this term being analogous to that of patent claims in other countries.]
