Postharvest treatment and storage of malting barley.Peer-reviewed article

J. ZÁJEDA

Various methods used at present to dry grain by ventilation are being steadily further developed and many improvements can be therefore reasonably expected. It will be probably possible to dry large batches of barley with high moisture content in hall-type storage rooms and especially in low bins. Good results have bee recently achieved in pest control in storage facilities and in suppressing harmful microflora.
