The article deals with the changes of amounts of dissolved air oxygen taking place during bottling operations in breweries using pressure air for filtering 12° bright beer, for repumping it into feeding tanks in racking shed and in racking machines. The authors have measured average concentrations of dissolved air oxygen in all final stages of brewing process. To reduce the amount of dissolved air oxygen in beer the authors have developed and successfully used their invention i. e. the so-caaled ,,flow changer" attached to the feeding tank. This attachment permits to reduce the amount of dissolved air oxygen in beer by 0,4-0,5 mg of O2 per1 l, i. e. roughly to halve it.
