The paper comprises the results of research studies and practical applications of a treatment of distillery and yeast-factory effluents by irrigation. This procedure was used with respect to a reclamation of soil and a sanitary and management of water treatment. The results of the Research institute for Irrigation with dry mashed Research Station Šmolovy, referred to the treatment of the effluents and slops from the distillery potatoas as a hyproduct in Bohdanov by biological and vegetative growth tests, provide evidence of the utilization of these effluents for irrigation. Similar results were found in Bulgary, Hungary and Poland. The trend of further research together with a possible construction of experimental plants in mentioned.
