Suitability of wood and various lignocellulosic materials in biotechnological processes has been tested by two basic technologies, e.g. by hydrolysis and hydrocraking. Interesting are the results af experiments with wood material coming from forest areas polluted by acid rain of oak-wilt, which seems to give equal results (in some cases even better) in comparison with that coming from healthy forests.
