Breweries and malt-houses in Japan.Peer-reviewed article

According to the annual beer production quantity Japanis on the 5th place in the world. The brewing companies Kirin,Sapporo, Asahi and Suntory endeavour to keep the high quality and the uniform flavour of their beers of the same brand regardless to the producing brewery. The most famous beer is the nonpasteurized pale beer of pilsner type in the form of the so called "draft".Japan malt-houses and especially breweries use the most modern technology, the majority of brewing houses is controlled by computers and the new breweries are equipped with cylindrical conical-bottom tanks. The great attention is devoted to the automation of the raking and the dispatching.
