The sources of nitrogen, carbon, phosphor and others raw materials for biotechnological production.Peer-reviewed article

M. BUČKO

In biotechnological manufacturing, great numbers of basic conditions are required for the successful course of biosynthesis, which enable the increasing of production and makes manufactured preparations more economical. The use of suitable and at the same time inexpensive raw material is one of the most important conditions. Carbon and nitrogen sources, growth factors and inorganic substances are necessary in these all biotechnological productions. On the basis of enzyme system of producing microorganism, cornsteep liquor, soybean flour, peanut flour, rape meal, protein substrate hydrolyzates, yeast autolysate etc. are used as nitrogen sources, glucose, saccharose, starch, molasses, sulphite liquor, ethanol, n-alkanes etc. as carbon sources. In the fermentative processes, growth factors, vitamins, amino acids, precursors and trace elements must be added. An equilibrated culture medium prepared with first class raw materials reduces production irregularities on an industrial scale.
