Application of mutants sensitive to amino acid for a preparation of lysine by fermentation.Peer-reviewed article

J. PLACHÝ, S. ALBERT

There has been isolated a mutant Corynebacterium glutamicum 9366-T/6, sensitive to threonine and producing lysine. The mutant was able to accumulate 49 g . l-1 lysine in a medium containing 18 % sucrose, 16,5 % acid hydrolyzate of peanut meal and 12 % cultivation liquid after fermentation of homoserine producing bacterial mutant.
