Fermentation production of lactic acid.Peer-reviewed article

The latest results from the research of a fermentation production of lactic acid are described. Knowledge resulting from an optimalization of the classical procedure are emphasized. In addition, the innovation of the process with respect to its continualization using immobilized cells and modern separation techniques such as the membrane filtration and electrodialysis are discussed as well.
