Fractionation of yeast biomass. VI. Preparation of nutritional concentrates.Peer-reviewed article

The preparation of yeast extract from the supernatant fraction of yeast autolysate together with the preparation of invertase, ergosterol, phospholipids, cell walls and glucans are described. This yeast extract was successfully proved for the following aims: as a component for culture media used for industrial processes as well as for microbial diagnostic, as the addition for dried soups and special kind of smoked meat products.
