Auto-regulation system used in kieselguhr dosage during beer filtration.Peer-reviewed article

The paper reviews basic theoretical preconditions applied for automated kieselguhr dosage during beer filtration. Outgoing from a vast model filtrations complex, an auto-regulation system has been designed, enabling in accordance with turbidity of unfiltered beer a compensation of the yeast impact concentration, while at the time decreasing kieselguhr consumption. Given main features of technical solution implemented by the Firm Destila Brno aimed at increasing of technical standard of Destila SUF candle filters. By means of PC AT operated system is being already run for several months. The system, can be applied with another filters.
