Chromatographic determination of saccharose during the main and final fermentation process.Peer-reviewed article
J. VLČEK
Kvasny Prum. 1957; 3(8): 169-172 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1957032
The article contains results of the diploma work being a continuation of the study of R. Winkler, published in the same paper (2, 1956, 196). The author studied by means of chromatography the decomposition of glycids contained im the wort of homogenous composition, fermented with yeast of different types, as well as in laboratory and commercial wort fermented in closed fermentation vessels, in both cases by means of yeast of the same type. For the brewery laboratories the author suggests to use the method of cyclic chromatography. The results are shown in added chromatographs.(In Czech, English summary only)
The requirement of bottles for filling.Peer-reviewed article
K. KRAJNÍK
Kvasny Prum. 1957; 3(8): 173-174 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1957033
The author discusses the losses of bottles during the delivery, storage, technological process and distribution. He is basing upon the data given byW. Prestel, published in Brauwelt, 25, 1956, 413, which are partially reproduced.(In Czech, English summary only)
The use of yeast from the alcohol production as the baker's yeast.Peer-reviewed article
J. BARTA, M. ROSA
Kvasny Prum. 1957; 3(8): 178-180 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1957034
The authors endeavoured to test the possibility of using the distiller9s yeast instead of baker's yeast for the above mentioned purposes. They made comparison test as regards fermentation ability and investigated the formation of CO2 in maltose and glucose medium. Only the practical experiments will show, whether the use of distiller's yeast for this purpose is possible.(In Czech, English summary only)
The use of isolators for the yeast selection.Peer-reviewed article
J. ARPAI, V. STUCHLÍK
Kvasny Prum. 1957; 3(8): 182-184 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1957035
The authors describe the isolator, constructed according to Nečásek, Palečková and Tesař (1954) originaly for the purpose of monosporic isolation of fungi. The author applied this system for isolation of fermentation microorganisms and prooved its ability. The isolators will be produced and delivered by Meopta works.(In Slovak, English summary only)
