    Analyses of 402 samples of malting barley presented by various malting plants and breweries have been made by the Research Institute of Brewing and Malting Industry. Results of analyses can be classified as substantially better than results obtained with last year`s crop. Figures from analyses are presented in the form of tables.(In Czech, English summary only)

    The article deals with experience with application, of hop extract packed in portions per 500 ml in the ECO paper boxes. The paper substance of the boxes easily disintegrates in the beer wort. The box itself is without any printing. To eliminate undesirable anonymous character of goods and prevent at the same time contamination of wort. The outer wrapping must be removed before putting the extract portion in the wort tank. The results so far obtained with portioned hop extract are very favourable.(In Czech, English summary only)
