The specific filtration resistance (SFR) of kieselguhr is defined on a base of the mathematical theory of the filtration process. A determination of SFR is derived from this theory. A working procedure together with the correct and the simplified calculation is described. A reproducibility of the method was estimated by an evaluation of 75 analyses of various kieselguhrs. The reproducibility is expressed by the difference of two estimation D = 5 %, with regard to the mean value. Comparing with similar methods (filtrate rate, etc.) the SFR values are not dependent on the conditions of the method.(In Czech, English summary only)

The common expression of economic factors affecting the resulting value of the profitableness of basic media id described. An order estimation of selected plants is made according to the values of parameters characterizing the individual factors. An analysis of the relationship among the order according to the labour productivity, equipment of workers with basic means and profitableness of a function is performed. The results of these analyses are: a recommendation of possible rationalization arrangements for the individual plants and an outline of the computer utilization. Also an example of the analysis of 12 plants is incorporated in the article.(In...

The individual advantages of the filling system ROLA-TRONIC are as follow: the technological and microbiological security of the product quality, no losses due to outflow, almost no losses due to overfoaming, a high level of the filing, no problems with the filling of beverages containing CO2 and a simple service.(In Czech, English summary only)

An experiment on the plant level of the production of refined ethanol with an average ethanol concentration below 0.25 % w/v of the absolute alcohol is described. The dependence of refined ethanol quality on the changes in the production technology at a lowered energy consumption was observed during 3 months. The result served for some changes in the technology to ward the energy saving. The mazout saving during a one-year operation in the campaign 1983/84 was 200.5 tons.(In Czech, English summary only)

In the first part the methods of isolation of organic compounds from non-alcoholic beverages including the possibilitics of their estimation by the GC with the capillary column are discussed. In the experimental part microextraction for the isolation was used. The extract was analysed using the GC in the capillary column. 250 ml of the beverage cooled to +5 °Cwas extracted by pentane (0.5 ml). The separation of the thin layer of the extraction agent was performed in the special apparatus according to Czechoslovak Patent No. 215 680. The extract (1.5 ml) was directly analyzed using injection technique in a glass capillary column with a length of45 mand...
