Experimental malting of new varieties of barley and evaluation of beer brewed with their malt.Peer-reviewed article

V. POTĚŠIL

Malting and brewing experiments have been made with a new variety of barley introduced under the name "Výnosný". As compared with long established varieties as e. g. "Valtický" and "Slovenský Dunajský" the new one is slightly behind them, as far as the composition of grain determined by analyses is concerned, but nevertheless it can be recommended as a valuable variety for malting and brewing industry, since it secures outstanding yields, giving at the same time beer of good quality.
