Wine industry is highly interested in an effective utilization of all its waste produced in various phases of grape pressing and wine making processes. To achieve optimum results it is necessary to handle and treat waste so as to facilitate subsequent processing, increase its yields where possible, modernize equipment and technology and to start making new products. Wine industry will increase gradually the production of tartaric acid salts, utilize pomace of white-skinned grapes, make natural dyestuffs from dark-skinned grape pomace and improve the quality of products which are at present already in manufacturing program.
