Genetic manipulations with the yeast cell I. Induced protoplasts fusion.Peer-reviewed article

The individual steps of a method of the induced protoplast fusion, i. e. the protoplast preparation, the induced fusion, the protoplast reversion to divided cells and the hybrid selection are described. Also other procedures are characterized as follows: the hybrid preparations, the fusion of dead protoplasts, the fusion of protoplasts with liposome, the fusion of a yeast protoplasts with s bacterial spheroplast, the transition of cytoplasmic and nucleic genes during the transition of some parts of genom from donor to recipient cells.
