Some problems of measuring and controlling fermentation processes.Peer-reviewed article

The article deals with various devices and units which can be used to mechanize the control of fermentation processes or to replace conventional methods with automation. The functions of modern central control desks incorporating transducers, sensing devices, data processing equipment and control system are described in detail. Parameters are given of several available types, as well as of some types which are at present being developed.
