The autor describes the principles and design of the RS gravity brewhouse, as well as experience acquired during its operation. The brewhouse was designed by Potravinoprojekt inBrnoand built 10 years ago by ZVÚ Works at Hradec Králové. Experience acquired in 10 years confirms that the RS system has many important advantages over conventional brewhouses of the same capacity and in its principles represents a modern solution.
