Biotechnological aspects of microbial transformations.Peer-reviewed article

Biotransformations are biological processes catalyzed by microorganisms. They represent the progressive and economical advantageous biotechnology. Their performance depends on the used substrate, microorganism, medium and conditions of cultivation. They have an extensive exploitation in pharmaceutical and food industry as well as in organic synthesis.
