The foaming power of four beer kinds using the outflow from a special funnel or the ultrasound was tested. Both the methods allow to froth the same beer quantity (105 ml) in a cylindrical vessel with the diameter of55 mmand the height of130 mm. The foaming power of beers was evaluated according to the time of a partial decomposition of the foam. The time includes the beginning phase of a foam decomposition as well as a flow of beer down that is in a good agreement with the judgment of a consumer before his drinking. The foaming power of beers was measured by a photoelectric device that enables the measurement of he time of the partial foam decomposition the foam decomposition according to the Rosse-Clark method as well as the total foam decomposition.
