Types of hop boiling procedure from the standpoint of a lowering of energy consumption.Peer-reviewed article

A comparison of the energy consumption during the classical low-pressure procedure with a combined energy accumulator, mechanical compression of vapour and the high-pressure hop boiling procedure is described. Advantages and disadvantages of both the systems are described.
