Mash filter 2001 as seen from practical experience.Peer-reviewed article

M. MELIS

4 years of practical experience with mash filter 2001 bear Witness of its quality and excellent performance. During a rapid process lasting less than 2 hours, it is capable to produce a very clear wort. No difference between wort from lauter tun and that from mash filter 2001 was found. The excellent wort quality outflowing from 2001 filter is linked with high yield, small amount of sparging water and low level of aeration. The quality of thus obtained beer before and after its pasteurization does not differ from that obtained by means of lauter tun.
