Short survey of currently most used methods, their accuracy, advantages and drawbacks. It was found that traditionally used methods such as distilling and refractometric ones are timely demanding, require experience and could be performed only in laboratory conditions. At modern automatic analysers, f.i. PAAR and SCARA are these disadvantages removed (they are rapid and easy in operation). Disadvantage can be seen in their high price. Near-infrared spectroscopy is a relatively new method with expectation to future.
