Various methods of filling metal barrels with beer have been tested to determine conditions necessary to secure sufficient durability and resistance against influence of transport. Several washing and disinfecting means were used and compared to find out the most effective technique. The results are presented in the form of tables.(In Czech, English summary only)

The article discusses the well known experience that the beer consumption depends largely on weather conditions. Having explained the physiological conditions effecting the physiological conditions effecting the beer consumption and after classification of consumption districts the author presents the determining factors in the form of mathematical formulae applying on them the correlation laws. The analysed factors effect the consumption rate very substantially and mathematical relation is very clear. The variations of consumption rate are extremely great and are by 86% due to the temperature and by 83% to the air humidity. In the concluding part...
