Development of aerating systems with turbine agitators.Peer-reviewed article

The article deals with the recent development of aerators for yeast plants both in Czechoslovakia and abroad. In several new plants fermenting installations were equipped with turbine agitators designed by Mr. Hospodka (a research worker at one of the laboratories of the Academy of Sciences), but their performance was not quite satisfactory and at present they are being gradually replaced by a new aerating and agitating system developed by Mr. Kendlík, a designer of the CHEPOS Works. The system meets all the requirements of modern technology.(In Czech, English summary only)
